Post Katrina Litigation of Payout Discrimination Claims is Settled
Kathleen's post on the upcoming panel discussing post-disaster litigation is particularly timely. See today's New York Times article on the settlement of claims by homeowners who sued the federal government and the State of Louisiana alleging discrimination in the distribution of grants to homeowners whose houses were destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.
